Bonus Panel Discussion to Follow Journey to Mount Sinai in Theaters
Thinking Man Films has announced the participants for an exclusive panel discussion that will be viewed immediately following the theatrical showings of Patterns of Evidence: Journey to Mount Sinai. The feature-length documentary will be in theaters two-nights only, October 17 and 18, distributed through Fathom Events.
The sixth film in the Patterns of Evidence series, Journey to Mount Sinai searches for the true location of Mount Sinai. It is the first of a 2-part series that will explore evidence matching the primary biblical criteria of Journey to the Mountain, Midian, Backside of the Wilderness, Attributes, and Artifacts. Six of the most popular locations proposed for Mount Sinai will be investigated – three sites in Part 1 and three in Part 2 of Journey to Mount Sinai, which will be released next spring.
At the conclusion of the film, you can look forward to an engaging panel discussion with knowledgeable and insightful Bible teachers. The post-screening panel will include filmmaker Timothy Mahoney, Jeff Cavins, Thom Berkowitz, and Pastor Mark Henry.
Jeff Cavins is a nationally known speaker, author, TV host, podcaster and pilgrimage leader whose engaging style of teaching has helped hundreds of thousands of Catholics grasp a better understanding of the Catholic faith and the Bible.
Thom Berkowitz is a Messianic Jewish believer and has spent the past 23 years as the Teaching Director for Community Bible Study in Edina MN. The former co-host of the radio show “Two Jews and a Gentile,” Thom is also the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Together for Israel, a ministry helping Jewish and Arab believers in Israel.
Mark Henry is the Lead Pastor of Revive Church in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and is known for calling people to do one thing – Passionately Pursue Jesus Christ. Globally he has shared the Gospel with over 6 million people, exposed over 50,000 pastors to expository preaching, and helped establish over 70 churches in Africa.
Mahoney comments, “This panel is such a fascinating mix, and I know our audience will enjoy hearing the reactions of the Catholic, Protestant, and Messianic Jewish community to the evidence we discovered when seeking out the location of Mount Sinai. How You Can Help
Oftentimes we are asked, “What can I do to help Patterns of Evidence?” One way you can help regarding the release of this film is that if you plan to go, please buy your tickets as soon as possible. Theaters that see their rooms filling up quickly, based on ticket sales, will often add a second screen for the showing. Many people wait to buy their tickets until the day before or at the door the night of the showing. In places that sell out, this leaves some people locked out, disappointed, and unable to see the film.
In this scenario, if the theater had seen that things were filling up early, they may have had time to open up an additional screen so that more people could see the film. When a film is only playing for two nights, this becomes an important factor.
As always, spreading the news of the film’s release to friends and family is also a big help. Get a group together from your church or organization and get your tickets early to enjoy a faith-affirming evening of delving into Bible mysteries while being engaged with epic cinematography, adventure, recreations, and biblical evidence.
