New Film Tells Tim’s Story AND Patterns of Evidence Story
Many believe the Bible is a record of God’s miraculous intervention into people’s lives, but does God still intervene today? The answer is YES! PATTERNS OF EVIDENCE: The Journey Home is the untold story of Timothy Mahoney, the creator of the award-winning film series, Patterns of Evidence.
With the death of a critical team member, Tim felt it was essential to document on film how he and his team have experienced God’s intervention in their own lives and during the making of Patterns of Evidence films.
But Tim realized he couldn’t make this self-inspection film by himself, so he hired award-winning director Rick Altizer (Show Me the Father, Russ Taff: I Still Believe). This compelling true story follows Tim’s journey from brokenness to freedom connecting the dots with the Israelites journey home in the Exodus.
During the interview, Rick probed deeper into why Tim would spend so much of his life looking for biblical evidence. The questions revealed a dark family secret of domestic abuse and loss that Tim had kept buried within his soul.
What could have been a tragedy became a story of freedom and redemption. Patterns of Evidence: The Journey Home will inspire many to see that God is at work when their families are broken and fatherless.
