Patterns of Evidence is glad to be on the back end of the success of those films as we are about to release Journey to Mount Sinai II on May 15th and 17th in theaters. Not only does it show that people are readily supporting films in our faith-based genre, but it proves that people are going back to the theaters again. Additionally, it could mean that people are hungry for films with meaning and that are based on the Bible.

What creates news buzz, as we’ve seen, is ticket sales. Not just ticket sales but early ticket sales, so that more and more theaters want to book the film to show. What motivates theaters to book a film is fear of missing out (FOMO)- when the population is wanting to see a film that a theater isn’t hosting. Theaters will want to start hosting the film when they hear ticket sales are going well EARLY! Adding more theaters means there are more chances for people to see
